This position may be located in Dubuque, IA, Waterloo, IA, and Moline IL per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.This position is eligible for telework work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Base Manager for Gearboxes and Final Drives (Primary Location: Dubuque, Waterloo, Moline/SWOB), you will develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver the highest levels of quality and availability to the lowest cost. You are responsible for managing supplier relationships, commercials, and supplier performance. In addition, you will…
- Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies to fulfill the needs of our factories and parts organizations
- Managing supply base commercials, performance, and communication
- Manage high level relationships with key or high-impact suppliers
- Define, resolve, and provide permanent solutions to systemic supplier performance issues while managing the day-to-day supplier relationship
- Lead and motivate cross-functional team members to identify and drive projects to achieve defined goals

What Skills You Need
- 5 or more years of experience in Supply Management
- Experience in commercial negotiations and supplier relationship management
- Strong communications across multiple functional areas and geographies
- Experience analyzing information to make strategic decisions
- Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively adapting for changing conditions
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestic/international), based on business needs
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in Drive Train / Casting / Machining commodity
- Complex project management experience
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Engineering, Operations or in a Supply Management discipline or equivalent related work experience
