This position is eligible for a flexible or telework work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Specialist II for the Aftermarket and Customer Support (A&CS) Supply Management team located in Dubuque Works, you will be responsible for the procurement of service parts supporting John Deere A&CS. In addition, you will:
- Establish material replenishment strategies that support supplier quality and delivery
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate efforts to address performance improvement initiatives
- Lead cost reduction and margin improvement activities for assigned areas of responsibility
- Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of experience working on a project team or leading projects
- 1 or more years of experience in interpersonal communication and conflict resolution
- 1 or more years of experience identifying opportunities to create value, efficiency, or cost reduction
- Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
What Makes You Stand Out
- 1 or more years of experience using SAP or other material requirements planning (MRP) based systems
- Project management experience that includes identifying an issue, creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management and/or related discipline(s) or equivalent experience
