About the Program

Hillcrest's Adult Residential Services operates several 3-5 bed group homes and a 60+ bed care facility for adults who have a mental health diagnosis. Serving as a stepping stone from hospitalizations to independent living, these programs provide supervision in a safe, secure, and protected environment, with the following support:

  • 24 hour staffing and supervision
  • Individual counseling and care coordination
  • Mental health support
  • Medication management
  • Social and community integration
  • Physical and emotional health development
  • Recreational activities (structured and unstructured)
  • Daily living skills education and instruction

 

Your Responsibilities

As an Adult Group Home Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide aid to people who suffer from a variety of disabilities. In addition, you will:

  • Assist the Program Director in the referral, intake, and discharge processes for the program and monitor completion of all requirements.
  • Ensure the scheduling and follow through of daily routines and recreational activities.
  • Ensure the daily upkeep and condition of the facility, including housekeeping and supplies and make/recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Conduct assessments and create service plans based on client needs, wants, and abilities.
  • Teach necessary and effective problem resolution and independent living skills.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences
  • Valid drivers license and ability to meet agency driving requirements

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working with adults who have chronic mental illness
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to pass medications (Med Manager or Certified Medication Assistant)
