Product Engineer Intern

Job Overview

The Metrix Company, a medical device manufacturer, has a paid internship opportunity for summer 2023 with potential for part-time hours during the semester.  The Product Engineer Intern is responsible for assisting in developing, testing, and documenting new products in accordance with customer needs and regulatory requirements.  The intern will gain significant knowledge in engineering functions, such as, the design process, material and sourcing investigations, product cost analysis, validations, and corrective actions.  Qualified applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a minimum of sophomore status in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
