Job Overview

This position is responsible for the accurate, timely, safe and efficient delivery of our lubricants, fuel, and propane while maintaining accurate inventory and delivery records. CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
ΓÇó Class B Commercial Driver's License w/hazmat and airbrake endorsement.
ΓÇó Excellent driving record.
• Current Medical Certification
ΓÇó CTEP/Bobtail Certified

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work in this classification can be considered heavy physical work requiring the exertion of up to 75
pounds of force occasionally and between 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 75 pounds of force
occasionally to move objects. The employee must be able to consistently and with strength: walk, lift,
carry reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, push, pull and crouch. Physical effort is exerted
on a routine, frequent basis.

THE EMPLOYEE MUST SPECIFICALLY:
Γùè Drive or stand for prolonged periods of time;
Γùè Lift, pull and connect fueling hoses to load and dispense products;
Γùè Work around obstructions at residential and commercial delivery sites and pull hose long
distances;
Γùè Work in various inside but mostly outside environments being subjected to weather changes,
noise, vibrations, job hazards and atmospheric conditions;
Γùè Work in adverse weather conditions which may involve extreme heat, rain, deep snow, ice, and
various types of ground conditions such as uneven terrain such as slopes, gullies, etc.;
Γùè Climb ladders or other structures to load and unload product and for frequent ingress / egress to
and from the truck cab;
Γùè A driver handling Propane normally performs work activities at ground level, i.e.
is not required to climb onto truckΓÇÖs tank compartment for loading / unloading.
Γùè However, Propane Tanks (from 250-1000 gallon in size) must sometimes be
placed for customers or removed and the use of assisting equipment along with
collaboration with a co-worker is necessary. This will require some physical
exertion similar to the typical day to day physical demands.
Γùè Lift, pull and/or move objects between 10 (frequently) and up to 75 pounds (occasionally);
Γùè Sustain moderate physical effort for up to 8 - 12 hours;
Γùè Exhibit full range of motion for shoulder external rotation and internal rotation; shoulder abduction
and adduction, elbow flexion and extension, shoulder extension and flexion, hip flexion and
extension and knee flexion; wrist flexion and extension; finger flexion and extension
Γùè Use visual acuity required for depth perception
Γùè Visually inspect small defects and/or small parts, sometimes requiring bending, stooping or
crouchingΓÇÖ
Γùè Operate machines, motor vehicles, hand tools, and job specific equipment and tools
Γùè Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires
and tank related items;
Γùè Hear sufficiently to accurately perceive information at normally spoken word levels;
Γùè Use communication by means of spoken word to express or exchange ideas ΓÇô also the usage of a cell
phone and tablet is required.
Γùè Exhibit and utilize basic reading, math and computer skills.
