Universal Tank & Fabrication is an industry leading manufacturer of pressure vessels and specialized fabrications serving customers throughout North America. Successful candidates must possess the following:

• Provide ongoing proactive leadership by setting a good example for others to follow in all areas including UTF rules and regulations, manufacturing processes, quality, safety, production, attendance and all other UTF standards.
• Assign job duties to all Maintenance Associates.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior management experience required
• Above average mechanical, problem solving, math, and blueprint skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage a large number of projects at a time
• Must possess a valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred but not required) Periodic travel may be required
• Knowledge in metal fabrication manufacturing preferred
• Must possess the ability to run manufacturing equipment with a high level of confidence
