Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a company in MINERAL POINT, WI to support their growing business in a Tax Accountant role. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing individual, corporate, and non-profit tax returns
• Conducting tax research and conveying information to the supervisor
• Assisting with assigned client audit, review, and compilation areas in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by the supervisor.
• Establishing and maintaining effective client relationships through regular communications, including on-site visits.
• Expanding knowledge through exposure to peers and clients
• Representing the firm and promoting its image at a variety of events including, but not limited to: networking events, vendor conferences, client events and college career fairs

What you can bring to the table:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in public accounting preferred
• CPA eligible (150 credits) preferred
• CPA certification is recommended, but not required
• Excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Commitment to quality and timely completion of work
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and various tax and accounting software including CCH products, QuickBooks products, and research tools
