Driving Courier

Position is located in Dubuque, IA

Grand River Medical Group is seeking an energetic and reliable Driving Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a high-quality customer experience while maintaining a friendly and positive environment. They will also display self-motivation while possessing the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a part-time position, 20-24 hours per week with a rotating schedule working 2 days one week, 3 days the following week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Pickup/transport/deliver supplies, mail, materials, paper records and equipment on a daily basis and distribute to appropriate location/person.
  • Respond to stat request. Keep supervisor informed of all problems, new issues and ideas for change.
  • Utilize appropriate telephone skills and etiquette, responding correctly.
  • Research location of requested health information, accessing various systems.
  • Accurately file health information.
  • Complete related paperwork such as pickup/delivery logs, mileage reports.
  • Ensure that the courier vehicle is maintained including, fueling, cleaning, and reporting repair needs.
  • Process outgoing mail by weighing and applying correct postage amounts to letters and packages.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to provide a high-quality customer experience with each interaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and accountable.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Valid Drivers License and proof of insurance - required.
