Job Overview

A Dubuque Pharmaceutical company is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. 

• Process point-of-sale transactions and shipments
• File hard-copy prescriptions and other pharmacy records
• Stock and inventory prescription medication and pharmacy supplies
• Process wholesale drug orders and reconcile products received with packing slips/invoices
• Performs pharmacy drug inventory control; including cycle counts and annual inventory counts
• Update patient demographic information in the pharmacy electronic record
• Answer phone calls; document requests and forward to Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist
• Will need to register with the state/lowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Support Person within 30 days of accepting employment

Wage: $16/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am - 5:30 pm
