DIESEL MECHANIC

LOCATION: DYERSVILLE, IA

WAGE: $24-$28/HR

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic that lives and breathes a positive and safe work environment while given a sense of empowerment at our already sustainable and successful company!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform oil changes and services on small equipment, vehicles, and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: gantry cranes, ready-mix and semi-trucks.

• Utilize the maintenance mobile app to document all maintenance requests and inspections and perform daily tasks and properly document and submit work orders

• Perform monthly inspections on equipment.

• Submit purchase orders (PO’s) for maintenance inventory and additional needed parts.

• Maintain OSHA safety procedures at all times when working around facilities and equipment.

• Will be occasionally asked to complete additional maintenance tasks and repairs when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possesses an extensive knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms.

• Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Is able to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed in a timely manner.

• Has a reliable, dedicated and positive work ethic.

• Is an excellent communicator and able to listen to, understand, and follow directions.

• Enjoys working independently and in a team environment.

• Is able to remain flexible as specific assignments change.

• Is self-motivated.
