McGraw-Hill Education, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials is looking for a creative, innovative, strategic Digital Academic Designer (12 month term) for our 9-12 high school programs.
As part of our Pre K-12 business, you’ll be part of a team that creates robust digital tools, curriculum and learning solutions in a variety of formats that are used by millions of educators and students every day. The Academic Designer is a digital savvy content and curriculum expert, responsible and accountable for assembling high-quality content based on specific product requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of digital curriculum assets such as videos, eBooks, interactives, simulations, and virtual labs.
- Participate in concept meetings, review manuscript, storyboards, alpha builds, and beta builds for digital assets.
- Follow approved workflows at all stages and meet all intermediate and final schedules.
- Fully understand the digital authoring tools and digital learning environment.
- Work closely with the Learning Design Studio Accessibility team to ensure digital products meet all accessibility requirements.
- Collaborate with the lead and senior digital academic designers as well as other cross-functional team members to create prototypes.
- Assist during digital launches with vendors including helping to create templates, trackers, and digital content development guidelines.
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing digital curriculum development and digital products, experience with creating video content preferred.
- Effective organizational and time management skills; productive, efficient work habits and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and exhibit flexibility.
- The successful candidate must be able to work extensively in a team environment.
- The successful candidate must be organized, and detail - and deadline-oriented.

The pay range for this position is between $60,000-$70,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
