Job Overview
The Procurement Specialist will assist with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by companies withing the McCoy Group, Inc. This position will also assist with all aspects of facility repairs, upgrades, and modifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
- Assign and Process all CAR’s for Truck Country/Stoops Dealerships
- Assist in Managing Ground Freight Contracts and Implementation
- Assist in Managing and Procuring Light Duty Vehicle Fleet Units New and Used
- Assist in Managing Brokered Electricity and Gas Utility Accounts
- Assist in Managing Cellular/Wireless Devices for all Business Units
- Assist in Managing and Negotiating Uniform Contracts for all Business Units
- Assist in Managing and Negotiating Safety-Kleen Program
- Assist in Managing and Negotiating Office Supply Contract
- Assist in Managing IT Supply Chain Programs
- Assist in Managing Amazon Business Account
- Assist in Managing Purchasing Programs
- Assist in Managing Bulk Oil/Lube Programs
- Assist in Managing and Maintaining Purchasing Link on Intranet
- Monitor Conney Safety Program with Safety Team
- Assist in Managing and Negotiating Contract for MRO Program for all Business Units
- Assist in Managing Tire Purchasing Programs
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit frequently and for long durations.
- Ability to operate a vehicle to and from destinations.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and contract.
Qualifications:
- Four-year college or university degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have an acceptable driving record.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word processing software; Microsoft Excel; Procede business software; Microsoft Outlook and contact management systems.
- Reliable, motivated, and driven to deliver quality workmanship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
