Wage: $55,000 - $62,000 / year

A local manufacturer is looking to add an Accounting and Payroll Specialist who will play a critical role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You will work closely with the finance team and report to the Finance Manager to support their financial operations. The right fit candidate will possess previous accounting and payroll processing experience.  This is a direct Hire opportunity. Meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and have full benefits to include Health Insurance, Paid holidays, 401k and PTO.

What you get to do:

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including tax withholding and deductions.
• Address payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end close processes.
• Serve as a back-up for the accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency.

What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:

• Education and or experience within the Accounting field
• 1+ years of Accounting related professional working experience
• Customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task
