The Marketing Automation Developer supports the Credit Union by leveraging marketing technology to implement and execute digital marketing and automated marketing solutions that support marketing campaigns and initiatives. This enables Dupaco to increase account and membership growth and retention across the credit union while driving value for the member.

You Will:
- Code, configure, test, and debug marketing automation campaigns, including data configuration, email distributions, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform.
- Accurate and timely.
- Create in-depth test plans to make sure all possible scenarios are tested properly before deployment.
- Implement complex code (e.g. dynamic email content, AMPScript, SSJS) and advanced automation and journey logic based on the feature / project requirements.
- Own email subscriber audience list management and data hygiene within SFMC.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed to implement and deliver accurate marketing campaigns in a timely manner with minimal rework.
- Understand end-to-end experience of emails and forms/landing pages from creation to deployment and reporting.
- Troubleshoot a myriad of data or technical challenges and work with vendors, development teams and the business to find resolutions.
- Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively research and implement latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards to ensure continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience using SQL, AMPscript, JavaScript, Server-side JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SOAP/REST APIs.
- 2+ years’ experience building, deploying and testing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
- Proven and solid understanding of technology inclusive of user interface, data flows, and back-end systems.
- Deep understanding, experience and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Creative problem solver with attention to detail.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
