Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview

Sedona Staffing is partnering with an area Medical Assembly company in looking for a Quality Control Inspector. This is a temp to hire position. Qualified candidates must be quality-driven with an excellent work history. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and production experience is preferred.   

Hours: Monday through Friday- 6:45-3:15pm

Wage: $19/hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Performs product assessment leak testing
• Selects test samples in accordance with sampling plan from roving inspections of ongoing production and from accumulated completed subassemblies and finished product
• Performs dimensional, functional, and visual tests and inspections of raw material components, in-process products, and finished goods in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Procedures (QCIP’s)
• Completes records of testing and inspections performed
• Pulls samples and inspects incoming raw material components in accordance with Incoming Inspection Procedures
• Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable
• Initiates nonconformance (NCR) record in accordance with the Nonconformance Control procedure and completes dispositions as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
