Job Overview

Overview

Curriculum Specialist

We have had a very successful past 12 months across our Middle East and Africa business. We continue to deliver market-leading educational resources, both print, digital, and blended learning solutions, to our educational customers. As a result, we are expanding our team and currently looking for a customer-orientated and sales-driven Curriculum Specialist.

What is this about?

As our new Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for our core educational products - Wonders, Inspire Science, Reveal Math, amongst others – that serve our K-12 customers. You will provide pedagogy, content, technology training, academic support, and presentations, to existing and prospective customers, so we can continue to increase our school portfolio.

The role will be supporting our customers across Egypt, the Levant region, and Saudi Arabia.

A typical day might include:

  • Fostering relationships with K-12 stakeholders and leveraging your expertise and knowledge to help drive sales.
  • Producing highly effective presentations of our products to potential customers.
  • Partnering with our sales teams to identify and promote the most appropriate school solution based on the customer needs.
  • Conducting professional development, and in-service training, of all our K-12 products to new and current users.
  • Becoming the McGraw Hill portfolio expert and supporting our teams across the region.

You should apply if:

  • You have a solid background in classroom teaching, and/or subject coordination, preferably in an instructional leadership role.
  • You are proficient in modern methodological teaching approaches and pedagogies, (small group differentiated instruction, ELL Support, STEAM, etc.).
  • You have previous experience in training and coaching educators using presentations and workshops. This would be advantageous.
  • You possess the ability to identify featured values of a program curriculum.
  • You can identify academic subject departmental needs.
  • Bachelor, preferably Master’s, degree in an Education related discipline.

Why work for us?

The work you do at McGraw Hill will be work that matters. We are collectively designing content that will build the future of education. Play your part and experience a sense of fulfilment that will inspire you to even greater heights. If you are curious, passionate about education, and ready to make a difference, we want to talk to you.
