Job Overview

Express Employment in Platteville, WI has partnered with a local business to search for a candidate to support their office in an Accounts Payable Specialist role. This is a TEMP position located in Kieler, WI.

Responsibilities:

-          Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports for payment.

-          Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy.

-          Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

-          Process payments through various methods, such as checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

-          Maintain an organized and efficient accounts payable system.

-          Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications:

-          Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

-          Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

-          Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.

-          Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

-          Excellent organizational and time management skills.

-          Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Wage: $20-22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
