Job Overview

Why Crescent Community Health Center? Crescent is a mission driven and patient centered organization. We provide medical, dental and brain health services to the Greater Dubuque area including our most vulnerable populations. We work hard to bring high quality affordable health care to all in our community. We believe we provide a diverse, fun, and inclusive workforce with competitive wages and benefits. If you are looking for a rewarding career that makes a difference in the community, this is your chance. We seek someone who wants to make that difference as an EPIC Support Analyst.

So, what will you do? You will be a super-user for our Electronic Medical Record system - OCHIN-EPIC. You will be the go-to person for measuring the effectiveness of our implementation and use of EPIC. You will be the person who works with end-users to tailor systems to satisfy their needs, encourage action and promote needed workflow or systems changes. You will also be a trainer and facilitator, choosing appropriate training methods per case such as virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc. New employees will seek you out to train them on information technology projects, programs, tools, and systems.

Some other things you will do are act as a primary liaison between EMR vendors and Crescent Community Health Center. You will also test Monthly/Quarterly Epic functionality patches, promote, and encourage data accountability for care teams and provider staff, and participate with the IA Primary Care Association on projects and initiatives.

What qualifications do you need to be considered for this role? You must have at least a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in data analytics, Pharmacy, Nursing, or are a Registered Dental Assistant, or possess an equivalent amount of years of applicable experience. You will set yourself apart if you understand clinical workflows in medical or dental clinics highly preferred and if you know Epic that is a plus (but you need some experience with electronic health records as a minimum). If this describes you, then apply today!

Please see the full job description for more detail. Pre-employment physical, TB test and drug screen required.
