POSITION DESCRIPTION
REVENUE AUDITOR
BASIC FUNCTION
The Revenue Auditor, under the direction of the Revenue Audit Manager, performs the daily functions of the Casino Auditing Department. The Casino Auditing Department assures adherence to standard practices such as checking the accuracy of all gaming transactions pertaining to accountability, drop, and related expenses. The Casino Auditing Department administers compliance with Federal, State, and local gaming laws pertaining to gaming revenue.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
a) Reports to: Revenue Audit Manager
b) Supervises: N/A
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for daily slot operations in the CDS system
- Responsible for daily audit of table operations in Pit Boss
- Verifies table game receipts, jackpot/fill slips, Quickets (ticketing), soft and hard count drops.
- Verifies correctness of ticketing from Cage and Soft Count
- Verifies paperwork to balance with the vault.
- Prepares daily casino reports and month end reports.
- Performs daily entry into computer (i.e., casino reports, deposits, W2Gâs)
- Prepares multiple spreadsheets including reconciling gift certificates, cash redemption, coupons, and ticket-in ticket-out.
- Audits casino paperwork/exception reports.
- Audits Slot Machines using Diagnostic Monitor.
- Audits Food & Beverage and Gift shop. Issues audit exceptions if needed.
- Enters marketing campaigns
- Prepares bar codes for new and existing slot machine
- Prepares Win/Loss statements and copies of W2Gâs for customers
- Replaces broken keys with Security Supervisor.
- Creates CTR for filing.
- Uses Docuware to index account payable invoices, W2Gâs and W-9âs.
- Provides information to IRGC for audits.
- Provides information for annual audit.
- Attends all company required training.
- Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines.
- Meets company attendance requirements.
- Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrates good guest service skills.
- Other projects as assigned by the Revenue Audit Manager
- File reports

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent, 4 plus years of experience in accounting or related field. Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Problem solving, highly accountable, detail oriented. Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently. Computer experience required.
