M-F 7:45-4:30p: No weekends!

Hills & Dales is proud to have opened our new Weber Autism Center in the beginning of 2024! We need additional behavior technicians to support children with Autism now that we have the additional space to support more!

We are one of the only non-profit clinical providers of ABA therapy in Iowa and considered among the most ethical models of support as well! We are very proud of our efforts and want to partner with new employees to advance the mission of Hills & Dales and impact children who confront unique challenges related to Autism.

The Behavior Technician I is responsible for administering and implementing all applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs and services as directed by BCBA within the Hills & Dales Autism Services for clients with autism and autism spectrum disorders. The role requires collaborative working relationships with children, family/visitors, co-workers, physicians and their office staff, social services, dietary/nutrition, school system employees, vendors/volunteers, outside agencies, students, and all necessary departments in the performance of operations & responsibilities.

Licensure, certification and TRAINING required and may be supported through Hills & Dales if appropriate.

  • Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
  • Must successfully completed the exam for a Registered Behavior Technician offered through Hills and Dales and then obtain an RBT Certification from. We have the ability to support candidates in obtaining this after demonstrating their dedication to a position with the Autism Services Department.
  • Experience with services and resources available within the community for families and children, strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.

Wage: $17 then increase to $18.30/hr after training wage.
