You Will:
- Be responsible for Database Management, including, Install, configure, and maintain databases in SQL Management Studio.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and data optimization.
- Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data. Monitor database access and user privileges.
- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks. Optimize SQL queries and database configurations for improved efficiency. Implement indexing and caching strategies.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. Test and execute data recovery procedures in case of failures.
- Enforce data quality standards and validation rules.
- Scale database systems as needed to accommodate growth.
- Investigate and resolve database-related issues and incidents.
- Expertise in ETL Tools including Talend and Microsoft Data Factory
- Key member of Root Cause Analysis teams
- Collaborate closely with Data Architecture and Systems Administration teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and implement automation scripts or tools for routine tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficiency with Database Queries, Database Monitoring, and Database Security
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
