Hills and Dales is a non-profit organization dedicated to building meaningful lives for people with disabilities and Autism. The Autism program at Hills and Dales supports children and young adults in navigating life with Autism in a clinical and community environments.

The Behavior Technician II is responsible for administering and implementing all applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs and services as directed by BCBA within the Hills & Dales Autism Services for clients with autism and autism spectrum disorders. The role requires collaborative working relationships with children, family/visitors, co-workers, physicians and their office staff, social services, dietary/nutrition, school system employees, vendors/volunteers, outside agencies, students, and all necessary departments in the performance of operations & responsibilities.

Professionals work in a team atmosphere with clients with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders. Whether playing with toddlers, supporting children during community outings, or helping teens and young adults develop vocational skills, our professionals enjoy a fun, positive working environment.

EDUCATION, Experience, Licensure, certification and TRAINING required

  1. Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
  2. Must have Bachelor's degree for Behavior Tech II. Behavior Tech I does not need degree but must pass certification.
  3. Ability to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within one year of hire by passing the certification exam offered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  4. Prefer three months experience resulting in an established clinical background in the treatment of children with Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  5. Prefer knowledgeable in area of applied behavior analysis.
  6. Have a general working knowledge of computers and department specific software.

Wage: $19.30/hr

Training Wage: $17/hr

Schedule: Full-time

Monday - Friday

7:45am - 4:30pm
