Summary/Objective
Responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking, washing, and packing orders for delivery, loading, and unloading trucks and warehouse keeping.
Essential Functions
• Complete tasks and conduct behaviors consistent in the promotion of a standard of excellence.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report any unsafe situations to management or human resources.
• In-person, on-site, predictable attendance and punctuality in alignment with the position’s scheduled hours.
• Checks products for defects and accuracy.
• Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
• Organizes packaging procedures to ensure the safety of the shipment.
• Affixes proper labels to each package in preparation for shipping.
• Pulls, washes (if applicable), packs, and ships finished goods.
• Processes customers’ order by ensuring the right shipment is on its way.
• Interacts with ERP system, documents, spreadsheets, and computer software as required.
• Processes order based on the customer’s preferred shipping system (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
• Loads and unloads trucks• Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints.
• Utilizes a variety of tools and equipment such as forklift, inspection gages, scales, and wash tank.
• Utilizes manual machines for deburring purposes keeping up with the pace of production.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable.
• Participates in employee training programs and communication meetings.
• Ensures the work area and equipment is properly maintained to provide a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Physical Requirements
Heavy work: Lifting no more than 80 lbs (team lift) at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma/GED or relevant experience.
• Forklift experience or the ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Prior shipping experience is a plus.
