Job Overview
The Marita Theisen Childcare Center at Steeple Square is hiring part-time assistant teachers. Part-time assistant teachers are responsible for working as a team with the lead teacher. Primary duties will include: implementing the daily activity plan, communicating with parents, and ensuring all DHS regulations are followed. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, flexible and have a passion for working with children.
Experience or education in childcare is preferred, but not required. Candidate must be able to meet all DHS requirements upon hire. Part-time schedule is 15 - 25 hours per week, shifts include: (6:30 am - 9 am), (10 am to 2pm), (2:30 pm - 5:30 pm). No night or weekends.
Our program opened in late August of 2019. We have a beautiful, newly renovated facility offering home-like comfort and small classroom sizes. We serve ages infant through toddler.
We offer competitive pay. Pay: $15.00+/hour and up based on experience, education and training.
