Job Overview
Tri State Building Supply is seeking a Sales Representative with
strong motivation to learn and excel.
Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
Call on existing customers, price and order supplies they require for projects, and
arrange timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
Generate new leads and build relationships with prospective clients who may be:
builders, contractors or architects, to illustrate the unrivaled customer service we provide,
and the building materials our company carries.
Arrange for products and samples to be shown for consideration and collect feedback
or suggestions about other products the company might carry.
Maintain friendly and professional long-term relationships with clientele and
fellow employees.
Skills and Qualifications:
Thoroughness and efficiency in preparing detailed project estimates.
Drive and initiative for creating and achieving goals.
Knowledge of the building industry and the common supplies and materials
frequently used is helpful.
Excellent listening skills along with good verbal communication.
Confidence toward being a part of a superior team contributing the know-how and
expertise that our customers can trust.
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Hours and Benefits:
Commission in addition to Competitive Base Pay.
