Graphic Designer

Job Overview

Position Description: The Designer II will support all areas as needed by conceptualizing, designing, and producing both internal communication materials and advertising materials including; direct mail, collateral, ads, social, web, outdoor, branding, logos, menus, wall graphics, etc. The Designer II will handle projects from concept though completion meeting deadlines and supporting the product brand through concept development and design. Hybrid position includes time working from home and in the Dubuque office.

Job Functions:

• Create overall graphic designs using Adobe Creative Suite programs.
• Recognize priorities, formulate schedules, establish work objectives, understand project need, and organize work.
• Press ready file creation and management.
• Meet with other employees to clarify job objectives.
• Maintain skill level consistent with correct graphic arts professional standards through training and independent research.

Position Requirements:

• Associates or BA degree in Graphic Design required
• 1-3 years design experience
• 1-3 years experience working in Adobe Creative Suite programs including; In Design, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Photo editing experience
• Experience preparing files for printing
• Self starter, must be able to work independently
• Must enjoy fast paced environment
