Communication Specialist

Job Overview

Are you passionate about designing visuals, crafting compelling messages, or developing engaging campaigns that make a positive impact? Cottingham & Butler is seeking a talented Communications Specialist to support our Benefits Practice and their clients. In this role, you will create communication materials and strategies to help our clients’ employees enroll in and use their benefits effectively.

Essential Functions:

1. Strategize, draft, update, and review ongoing and enrollment communications for clients to share with their employees. These communications include benefit guides, digital materials (emails, websites, banners, graphics, and videos), and print materials (benefit summaries, postcards, flyers, letters, wallet cards, and payroll stuffers).
2. Utilize resources from existing vendors and carriers to design communication materials and templates.
3. Support Benefit Executives/Benefit Consultants by responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding communications.
4. Adhere to processes for organizing and storing employee communications.
5. Excels in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects at once.

The ideal candidate will have prior office experience and strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills. Must possess excellent organizational and planning abilities, along with a wide degree of creativity.
