Job Overview

Job responsibilities:

A licensed individual serving customers by providing various beauty services, such as styling, manicures, pedicures, facial treatments, or make-up application.

We are seeking a licensed individual to help customers transform their appearance to their liking. You are responsible for listening to your clients wishes and provide the most suitable services. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of improving hair, nails, and skin, they will be deft and competent with a broad knowledge of trends and fashion to achieve maximum customer satisfaction driving long-term success.

JOB DUTIES:

* Maintain supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs and placing orders with manager.

* Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair and treating as needed, using proper technique to insure hold and style. Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, and/or curling.

* Prepares all make-up airbrushes, and supplies prior to meeting with client, proper clean-up of all materials used for services.

* Plans for desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; consulting with client; making recommendations.

* Maintains quality service as well as safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops as required to maintain license.

* Follows guidelines within the state license for cosmetology. Administrating facial products as prescribed in protocols to facial area. Massage area limited to face, arm, decollate. Perform therapy on all guests regardless of age, (12+) gender, or ethnicity.

* Contributes to team by insuring Spa is clean/stocked/organized in all areas when clients are not scheduled for service with provider. This includes but is not limited to getting ice, cleaning dishes, stocking locker rooms, vacuuming, always cleaning up after clients leave an area in the spa.

* Perform all services in time allotment.

* Use fresh linens.

* Promote and sell retail products.

* Maintain fully stocked Therapy room.

* Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
