Now hiring a Registered Nurse!
Dubuque Surgery is an independently owned and expanding general surgery practice currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with critical thinking skills. This is a full-time position of 35-40 hours per week, with rotating Friday afternoons off.

Duties include but are not limited to:
ΓÇó Prepare patients for clinic office visits by establishing a patient relationship and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
ΓÇó Assist the surgeon with examinations, office-based surgical procedures, ordering diagnostic studies and scheduling surgeries.
ΓÇó Triaging nurse phone calls, answering patient questions, communicating results to patients, and coordinating patient care with other medical providers.
ΓÇó Provide patient education, communicate the surgeon' advice and instructions to patients and/ or family members and gauge the understanding of the information provided.
ΓÇó Collaborate with the staff of our new ambulatory surgery center, Upper Mississippi Surgery Center opening Fall of 2024.

Education/ Experience/ Skills:
ΓÇó Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
ΓÇó New graduates welcome.
ΓÇó Must be a licensed RN with an active license to practice in the state of Iowa.
