Job Overview
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Old Testament to co-tech Spring 2025 OT Exegesis (English) course offered in Madison, WI through our Madison Learning Community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In cooperation with your co-teacher:
- Provide a course syllabus that accomplishes established course learning outcomes
- Lead Tuesday evening (6-7:40pm) in-person class sessions
- Attend class retreat first Saturday morning of the semester
- Provide weekly recorded lectures
- Manage Course Moodle page
- Grade and provide timely feedback on student work
Position Skills and Abilities:
- Teaching
- Classroom facilitation
- Ecumenical generosity and fluency
Qualifications:
- Expertise and education in Old Testament (Masters required, PhD or Dmin preferred)
- Commitment to the UD Mission
