Job Overview
OVERALL SUMMARY: Manages day to day customer order fulfillment functions and associated processes/procedures. To supply first class service both internally, to all areas of the business, and to our external customers and suppliers. Works closely with inbound freight coordinators within the department to ensure efficiency. Manages departmental resources consisting of warehousing, bargaining unit employees and equipment. Responsible for managing established shipping, receiving and warehousing schedules. Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained. Identifies systems requirements and maintains a high standard for safety and housekeeping.
EDUCATION: Associates Degree
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-4 years of experience within a warehouse setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains daily communication with other departments in the company to ensure orders are shipped within their compliance guidelines.
- Meet established shipping, receiving and warehouse schedules.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
- Identify system requirements and work with our IT department to implement.
- Monitor workplace performance.
- Safety Policy and Procedures.
