Job Overview

Job Title: Production Assembler

Mi-T-M is seeking an Assembler in our Production department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret assembly blueprints, operate various hand tools for assembly purposes, and be mindful of quality control parameters throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Interprets assembly blueprints to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, and any special options

    • Checks operating controls and safety stops on conveyor. Checks power and hand tools for correct operation

    • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order

    • Ensures that all parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods meet Mi-T-M's Quality standards.

    • Communicates with line leadman/foreman when assistance or guidance is needed

    • Clears unused items at the end of a run. Prepares work station for next run

    • Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist on other Production lines when help is needed or primary line is shut down

May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn new tasks and skills
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints
  • Work environment includes exposure to a variety of tools, equipment, and components.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
  • Willingness to work overtime, possibly some Saturdays.

Department/Location: Production- Cold Water Gas

Hours: Monday through Thursday (5:00 am - 3:30 pm) with overtime as necessary
