Job Overview
Job Summary: This role is responsible for the comprehensive administration and support of the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system across multiple modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, Performance Management, Learning and Benefits Administration. It serves as the central point of contact for all system-related inquiries, configurations, and enhancements. Key responsibilities include maintaining system structures and workflows to optimize reporting and data extraction, managing integrations and APIs, and delivering custom reports through UKG and Power BI. The position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to align system functionality with business needs, oversight of vendor relationships and licensing, and support for compliance through internal audits and secure data handling. Additionally, the role includes training end-users, managing system updates, and providing payroll support as needed.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Primary point of contact for all UKG system inquiries, maintenance, and enhancement projects
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot UKG modules, including CORE HR, Payroll Timekeeping, Performance Management, Learning Modules and Benefits Administration
- Configure UKG system fields, structures, and workflows specifically to optimize reporting capabilities and data extraction.
- Develop, maintain, enhance and audit UKG integrations, APIs, and data feeds to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and seamless communication between systems.
- Develop and deliver custom Business Intelligence (BI) reports in UKG and company’s internal Power BI reports to support data-driven HR and business strategies.
- Collaborate with all departments and HRBP’s to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions
- Manage UKG vendor relationships, including coordination billing, contract renewals, license management, and resolving invoice or service issues.
- Lead system updates and patches occurring in UKG to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Build and maintain system configuration, security roles, and automation processes to optimize efficiency
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and support to ensure optimal usages of UKG functionalities
- Partners with vendors and UKG support to address technical issues and implement new features
- Support compliance initiatives through regular internal audits, vendor file transmission audits, and ACA compliance reporting.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance with regulations, and secure handling of sensitive employee information
- Serve as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time in the absence of the payroll manager

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience specifically in UKG across multiple modules
- Demonstrates ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex HR systems, including building custom workflows, fields and reporting structures
- Strong experience with system integrations, APIs and data feeds between HR systems and other platforms
- Experience developing and delivering reports using UKG Business Intelligence and Power BI
