Job Description
Enterprise-wide administration and maintenance of corporate contracts management system and electronic document management system. Assist company attorneys and regulatory and audit staff with reporting obligations relating to the contracts repository and other legal department project support assignments.
- Administration and maintenance of the enterprise-wide contract management system and electronic document repository / management system. Serves as primary department contact on contract management system, including training and troubleshooting assistance. Ongoing system implementation tasks, as may be required.
- Customary contract administrative duties and responsibilities, such as summarizing material provisions and tracking of critical dates.
- Review and verify contract data submissions for accuracy and completeness as well as compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate and process various internal, regulatory and audit reporting obligations associated with the contract management systems
- Frequent coordination with contract generating departments at both a corporate and hotel/casino property level.
- Various assignments working with company attorneys and other legal department support functions, such as routine contract draft preparation and document and diligence compilation related projects. Also includes drafting and support with correspondence, reports and memos.
- Legal and historical file maintenance and retention review assignments.
- Must be familiar with legal and common contract terminology.
- Must be detail orientated and accurate in analysis as well as data entry/verification context.
- Must be highly organized, with the ability to coordinate multiple assignments. Includes deadline focused assignments.
- Computer intensive duties, experience with contract management systems (“CMS”) beneficial, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and like programs.
- Must be able to work independently (self-starter) and diligent in seeing task through to completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Customary / typical administrative support duties within the Legal department.
Qualifications
Educational or formal training requirements:
- College or paralegal education beneficial. Must be familiar with legal and common contract terminology.
Experience:
(amount and type or nature of experience)
- Minimum three (3) years law firm, legal dept. or contract administration experience preferred.
Computer intensive duties.
Other education, experience, skills, etc:
- Familiarity with legal and common contractual terminology required .
- Experience with CMS programs, spend management systems, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
