Job Description

This position will be located in Norfolk, Virigina

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the surveillance department. Protect company assets by observing gaming and non-gaming activities to ensure safety, integrity, security and company policies and procedures are followed. Supervise staff and department activities.

  • Protect company assets by observing gaming and non-gaming activities to ensure safety and policies and procedures are enforced.
  • Assist department heads with investigations in their departments.
  • Develop audit forms for observing various departments to ensure employees are following both regulatory and company rules and policies.
  • Oversee daily audits.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement agency investigations as needed.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly budget reports, and complete daily audits of department activities.
  • Hire, train, coach, discipline, supervise and handle scheduling of department employees.
  • Monitor training status of all agents.
  • Other related projects and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least five (5) years surveillance experience and previous supervisory experienced preferred.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games rules, procedures, and gaming regulations. 
  • Working knowledge of surveillance software and Microsoft Office programs such as excel and word. 
  • Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as hand held radios, video systems, and retention devices.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
