Job Overview

Implement current administrative procedures to serve internal and external customer base. Work with team to establish areas of improvement and contribute to team efforts towards goals. Maintain integrity of HR/Benefits programs and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR Manager in a team approach to reaching company goals
    Understand and be able to clearly explain various employee benefits programs, such as group health, dental, vision, and life insurance
    Responsible for benefit cost summaries, ROI reports, and benefit comparisons
    In collaboration with HR Manager, oversee benefits communications, including meetings, and presentation creation
    Oversee benefits changes to ensure they are entered appropriately in various systems and work with vendors to resolve issues
    Be knowledgeable in qualifying events, eligibility, open enrollment protocol for all benefits
    Assist HR Manager in obtaining data, statistics and other information relating to benefits, including Annual Reports (HIRD, 1099 HC, 1095C)
    Proficient with iSolved HRIS software for benefits tracking, reporting, and onboarding
    Ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation/records
    Flexible to adjust to changing priorities on short notice and multi-task
    Promote Professionalism and Pride within the work force at all time
    Any other job duties may be delegated by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or current SHRM certification
    5+ years of benefit related experience preferred
    Outstanding communications skills
    Exceptional customer service skills
    Well organized with excellent time management skills
    Skilled at working with confidential information
    Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    Experienced with working with an automated HRIS system, preferably iSolved
    Moderately flexible with schedule to include occasional travel
