Job Overview
The Marita Theisen Childcare Center at Steeple Square is hiring full-time lead teachers. Lead teachers are responsible for working as a team with the director and assistant teachers. Primary duties will include: implementing the daily activity plan, communicating with parents, and ensuring all DHS regulations are followed. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, flexible and have a passion for working with children.
Experience or education in childcare is preferred, but not required. Candidate must be able to meet all DHS requirements upon hire. Full-time schedule is 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends.
Our program opened in late August of 2019. We have a beautiful, newly renovated facility offering home-like comfort and small classroom sizes. We serve ages infant through toddler.
We offer competitive pay and benefits as well as generous paid time off and free lunch! Hourly pay is based upon position and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00+/hour based on experience, education and training.
