Our company is structured across 2 divisions – the Display Case Division, located in North Prairie, WI, Waukesha, WI, and Pewaukee, WI and the Refrigeration Systems Division, located in Ramsey, MN and now Dyersville, IA.

What Will You Do?
We need enthusiastic people for our NEW facility in Dyersville, IA and are looking for Electrical Control Tester, like you, to join our team and grow with us! You will be part of a skilled labor force where variety, cross-training, and advancement opportunities are the norm. No monotonous assembly work here! You, and our other Electrical Control Testers, will go through customized training on refrigeration, blueprint/schematic reading, lean manufacturing, etc. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities you can expect to do:
- Perform electrical functionality testing on custom control panels and systems per documentation
- Inspect electrical control panels per schematic / BOM
- Upload Engineered program files via USB and manual data entry to controllers, VFD drives and PLC equipment
- Rework / repair of faulty components / circuits as needed and ensure all documentation is recorded
- Perform Low and High Voltage wiring as needed
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on inspection and test results
- Complete QC documentation and problem resolution logs
- Have aptitude for and perform electrical troubleshooting
- Interface with customers and/or service technicians to resolve test issues
- Identify and relay errors to coworkers in a professional and efficient manner
- Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
- Assist in establishing and implementing best work practices
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
- Perform other reasonable duties as required or requested
- Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area
- Assist in 5S and lean activities and improvements throughout the production process
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for people who think like us; we have Midwestern values and a genuine do-it-right-the-first-time work ethic. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of you for this position:
- 2 years electrical technical training (Associates or equivalent preferred)
- 2+ years electrical live power testing experience preferred
- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment (meters, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics / diagrams required
- High motivation level and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with others while maintaining a positive attitude at work
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
- Good math and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter
- Ability to work overtime depending on workload
- Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire)
