Your Responsibilities

As a Motor Grader Engine, Cooling, and Drivetrain Engineer for Construction and Forestry located in Davenport, IA, you will produce design solutions that drive warranty reduction and resolution of field issues for engine systems, engine auxiliary systems, thermal systems, and drivetrain systems. In addition, you will...
- Interact with design, test, manufacturing, Customer and Product Support, and quality engineers as well as supply management to troubleshoot and resolve factory and field issues.
- Support Continuous Improvement-2** process to improve assembly of current designs

What Skills You Need
- Engineering experience through internships, co-ops or project experiences
- Experience with 3D modeling packages and modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience and ability to analyze technical data, consider multiple alternatives, and provide data driven decisions or recommendations
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong technical communication and organizational skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- Product design, test, or analysis experience in the areas of engine, cooling, or drivetrain system design
- Experience working in/with John Deere Power Systems and/or other engine and drivetrain manufacturers
- Construction equipment design experience
- Experience with product verification and validation processes
- Experience with telematics data Prioritize skills and experiences from most important to least.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
