Southeast Territory Manager - Natural Gas Products

Job Overview

‎A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is a leading manufacturer of water works brass, plumbing valves, pumps and water systems, natural gas valves and meter bars. The fifth generational company is privately owned and has a history of providing quality products since its founding in 1856.

We currently have an opportunity for a Southeast Territory Manager.  This will be for the Natural Gas product line in the Southeast part of the United States. A.Y. McDonald is a leader in the Natural Gas industry.

Responsibilities:

The outside Territory Manager will oversee all phases of selling Natural Gas products in the Southeast Territory which includes Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. This position will additionally provide feedback and support to the Natural Gas department in the corporate office that will aid with top notch customer service, product development, competitive analysis and forecasting. 

Required Qualifications:

• A four-year business or related degree or minimum five years of sales and/or industry experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Natural Gas experience preferred.
• Must be an aggressive self-starter who can work independently well organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills.
• Extensive overnight travel is required.
• Residence within the territory is required.
