Your Responsibilities
As a Scheduler Planner for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
- Act as the liaison with the engineering change control process regarding the engineering change activities
- Direct future production requirements which may include workforce planning strategies to develop recommendations to ensure the machine load and work force can meet the production requirements for the department
- Maintain and plan Kanbans and calculating quantities
- Directs the inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting
- Supervise and direct inventory personnel on needs for production.

What Skills You Need
- Experience working with SAP (System Applications and Products in Data Processing)
- Experience working with bills of material (BOM)
- Understanding of Production Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, Kanban and Demand Flow Technology
- Understanding of manufacturing databases
- Knowledge of Kanban and other delivery methods
What Makes You Stand Out
- 2 or more years of manufacturing and/or operations experience
- Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as warehousing, logistics, etc.
- 1 or more years of Supply Management experience such as negotiation, sourcing, product adoption, etc.
- 4 or more years of experience with production control systems, preferably within John Deere
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or Accounting/Finance.
