This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Product Owner – Testing & Programming for the Construction & Forestry Division, you will….
- Serve as process and technical expert for new product programs development and testing portfolio enablement
- Provide strategic support for all C&F factories in verification test/validation equipment. Including, but not limited to: End-of-Line and In-Process function test machines; Leak test machines (vacuum or pressure); Torque Systems; Press Systems; Equipment used to interface between the machine and assembly (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic); etc
- Leading projects & Data driven analysis for ME-related improvements in First Pass Yield (FPY), DPM, process improvement, cycle time reduction and resolution of issues
- Lead Initiatives to accelerate Tech Stack convergence Plan, and systems deployment across the division
- Lead, Develop, evaluate, and maintain machine requirements, parameters, and manufacturing limits; Lead root cause investigations for problem resolution related to product and processes; Ensure preventive maintenance plans support Quality and Delivery goals; Creation and maintenance of process validation monitoring systems; Maintaining equipment documentation; Engagement and management of relationships with other support personnel
- Lead activities for equipment procurement, Process Design/Product Design/and accelerate execution of projects in collaboration with factory leads to hit cost targets.
- As a part of the SCF scrum team, you will build technical solutions that meet the businesses automation requirements

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of experience in integrating testing hardware and software in a production environment
- 3 or more years of experience with expert-level skills in controls & electrical systems
- 2 or more years of experience analyzing CAN logs in order to interpret machine problems and determine troubleshooting leading to solutions
- 2 or more years of device connectivity, networking, security protocols, industrial communication protocols (OPC, OPCUA, MQTT, ModBus, RFID) background and experience
- Demonstrated experience with Titan, Shakedown, GFPTX and Smart Test Software suite
- Experience delivering new technology into production environment
- Strong communicator – ability to communicate to the technical teams as an engineer and help guide them through the process developing technical solutions. Additionally, being able to communicate strategic vision to leadership
- Ability to think outside the box to develop new process and methods to solve complex problems
- Experience designing and building custom tooling & Test Stands
What Makes You Stand Out
- Programming – software, machine controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
- Proven ability to scout new technologies and carry through to implementation
- Software programming experience (LabVIEW, Python, ROS, etc.)
- Experience resolving current production machine warranty problems.
- Understanding of electro-hydraulic control systems
- Experience in embedded software
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Systems Engineering)
