Dubuque Leisure Services Hosting Job Fair on Jan. 11 for 2024 Seasonal Positions The City of Dubuque Leisure Services Department will host a job fair for 2024 summer and seasonal positions on Thursday, Jan. 11, from 3:00 — 6:30 p.m. at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave. This event is open to the public and no appointments are necessary. All skill and experience levels are welcome. Jobs are available for ages 15 and up. Interested candidates can apply in advance online or utilize computers and application assistance available at the job fair. On-site interviews will be conducted for some positions if candidate is qualified. ΓÇ£WeΓÇÖre hoping to engage with anyone who will be looking for seasonal/summer employment. This event allows us to explain the connection between the benefits these jobs provide for the community and individualsΓÇÖ future career paths,ΓÇ¥ said City of Dubuque Recreation Division Manager Dan Kroger. ΓÇ£In addition to traditional summer jobs, we have a number of positions that run from April through October that may be ideal for people looking for employment beyond the summer months.ΓÇ¥ Job opportunities are available with the Recreation Division, Parks Division, City pools, Bunker Hill Golf Course, Port of Dubuque Marina, AmeriCorps, and Multicultural Family Center. Hourly wages range from $14 – $20.
