Brief History
A&G Electric had its beginning in 1983 with its original two owners / employees — Rick Ackley and Wayne Gartner — operating out of the back of Linden' Propeller Shop as a small firm serving Dubuque, Iowa.
From there, A&G Electric made a move to 595 Huff Street and continued growing steadily over the years, continuously expanding our services to Dubuque and the surrounding Tri-State communities.
In 2015, A&G Electric moved to our present location at 490 East 14th Street — right next to Linden' Propeller Shop.
Current Information
Headquartered in downtown Dubuque, A&G Electric provides service to the Dubuqueland & surrounding Tri-State area communities of Illinois & Wisconsin.
Today, under ownership & leadership of Barney Grobstick, A&G Electric continues to serve the Dubuqueland area and the surrounding Tri-State communities with an array of services.
As of 2020, A&G Electric employs 44+ staff members.
