Wagner Accounting & Tax Service, Inc.

Wagner Accounting & Tax Service, was founded by David Wagner in 1973 to provide Accounting and Tax Preparation services for the Tri-State area. For many years, this family firm operated at the corner of University and Irving streets in Dubuque, Iowa. Wagner Accounting & Tax Service relocated to its present Dubuque location on Century Drive in 1985. In 1987, Wagner Accounting & Tax Service, expanded to a second office in Maquoketa, Iowa. Thomas Wagner joined the firm in 1997 to continue the tradition of service to the greater Dubuque and Maquoketa areas. The firm incorporated into Wagner Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. in 2004.

In 2019, we acquired One Stop Tax & Accounting Service. Founded by Delbert Winner in 1969, and operated by Sharon Winner for many years, the One Stop team has joined our offices in Dubuque and Maquoketa.

ADDOCO Inc

Addoco, Inc. is a full-service wooden pallet manufacturer, recycler, and broker located just west of the fairgrounds on Old Highway 20. Formed in 1975 and staffed by trained professionals, we take pride in delivering quality products dealing in wood, plastic, metal, and corrugated materials. From our modern facility, we manufacture wood pallets, skids, crates, banding tops and shipping cradles in both hardwood and softwood. In addition, we are one of the Midwest’ largest suppliers of landscape mulch (natural and colored) and playground fiber matting.

The library carries many of the newest movies, bestsellers, audio books and children’ books. We continue to add non-fiction books with the lastest information as well as information DVD’ on travel and educational interests.

Mission Statement

The mission of the East Dubuque District Library is to be of service to the district’ residents by providing current and popular books, non-print materials, programming and technology for all ages that will help meet the recreational needs of the community and promote the value of lifelong learning.

History

The East Dubuque District Library was formed in 1937 as a WPA project. It was a city library at that time. In 1997, the library went to referendum to become a district library. The referendum passed and more than doubled the population served by the library. The library began to serve this new population out of its old and very small building on the corner of Sinsinawa and Wisconsin Avenue. In September of 2007 the library moved to its temporary location on Wall Street. A year and half later the library again moved. We now enjoy a permanent home at 122 Wisconsin. The library currently serves a population of 4459 and has two grade schools and one high school in our district.

Foundation 2 Crisis Services

Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that provides critical crisis intervention and prevention services across Iowa. We operate a 24/7 crisis center, including phone, text, and chat services. We also operate an emergency youth shelter, mental health support groups, community-based crisis programs, training, and more. We have been saving lives for over 50 years. Join our team today!
