2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

New 2nd shift schedule of 4x10 hour days Monday-Thursday!

Maintenance Mechanic Duties:

1. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
2. Perform simple machinist, welding, and die maker duties and responsibilities.
3. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, blue prints, wiring diagrams and simple sketches to perform required maintenance, service and fabrication.
5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
6. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities to include in-depth cleaning and waste disposal.
7. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
8. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
9. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
10. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
11. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
12. Operate and navigate computer systems such as Desktops, laptops, tablets and associated operating systems (OS) such as windows.

Hourly Wage is $20.40 with an $0.85 shift premium. Excellent benefits package of medical, vision, and dental starting on hire date.
