Part-time Virtual Reality Certified Flight Instructors

Job Overview

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking Part-time Virtual Reality Certified Flight Instructors.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Potential Available Shifts (allowing flexibility): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. or Tuesday and Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide students assistance with logging in and operating Virtual Reality (VR) equipment
• Open and close the VR room each day of operation
• Account for all VR equipment
• Provide flight instruction as required by student needs
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's Mission

Qualifications:

• Must be working towards or have a Bachelor's degree in Flight Operations
• Preferred CFI and/or CFII certificate
• Must maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to communicate with students with diverse backgrounds
• Prior experience operating VR equipment
