Job Overview
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant in the Heritage Center (Audience Services) for the 2025-2026 term, with a potential renewal for 2026-2027.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with all Heritage Center staff, UD's Fine and Performing Arts department, University Relations, Advancement, and Alumni offices to advance the performing arts on the UD campus.
- Report to the Director of Audience Services for box office and front-of-house operations and to the Executive Director on event/facility marketing and programming issues.
- Maintain excellent public relations and high customer service standards with all patrons and users of Heritage Center, both on and off campus.
- Allow flexibility in scheduling since evening and weekend hours are often expected. Scheduled work hours vary according to Heritage Center event schedule.
- Motivate other FOH and ticketing staff to emulate your ticketing system and ushering knowledge and efficient and customer friendly manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support the University's Mission
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program

All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week. Additionally, this position has the ability to receive campus housing and a meal plan or hourly compensation for duties/hours in addition to the required twenty (20) hours per week.
