Job Summary:
The Operations Account Manager plays a pivotal role in connecting our external customers to the full capabilities of our fabrication manufacturing facility. This dynamic position ensures seamless alignment between customer requirements and internal manufacturing processes, driving both operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Combining hands-on manufacturing or engineering experience with a strong commitment to customer service, the ideal candidate will manage existing accounts, pursue new opportunities, and develop initiatives to profitably grow fabrication sales. This role emphasizes customer engagement - accurately interpreting customer needs and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality parts and services at competitive pricing.
Key responsibilities include generating quotations for both standard and custom items, processing orders, and communicating critical information to clients. The role requires close coordination with Fabrication leadership and a working knowledge of powder coating, press brake, welding, laser cutting, and utility operations to ensure accurate machine run times and reliable quoting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing day-to-day operations and communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance, customer service) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Oversee the execution of projects related to client accounts, ensuring that all operations align with client specifications and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and training to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Identify opportunities for additional services that can generate revenue and enhance customer relationships.
- Coordinates all internal processes such as order entry, quotations, engineering, sourcing, shipping and various levels of document management.
- Monitor account performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and aligning operational strategies accordingly.
- Lead onboarding and implementation processes for new accounts.
- Resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare and present regular account reviews, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, operations, or client services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with process improvement and operational optimization is a plus.
