Express Employment Professionals Dubuque has partnered with a company in Cascade, IA to search for a Staff Accountant/Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Audit retail store daily worksheets and post them to the general ledger
• Manage finance interface between store management and corporate administration.
• Oversee store vendor invoice process utilizing Deepwater technology.
• Field phone calls & emails from stores regarding bookwork, retail invoices, retail pricebook
• Manage and update costs for all retail stores utilizing Red River pricebook
• Review cigarette buydowns and make necessary changes
• Review store vendor specials and make necessary changes
• Manage price changes
• Review contracts to ensure any price changes are reflected in pricebook

Requirements and Skills

• At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping
• Must have accounts payable, Excel, and invoicing experience
• Retail experience is helpful but not necessary
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• QuickBooks/FreshBooks experience
